The Verona Wildcats Freshman jumped out to an early lead on Beloit and captured a 14-0 victory on Tuesday at Badger Ridge. Eleven runs in the first three innings allowed the Verona Wildcats Freshman to put the game away early. A sacrifice fly by Jake Walter, a two-run single by Bradley Laufenberg, a two-run double by Jacob Slonim, and a walk by John Coshun during the second inning supplied the early offense for the Verona Wildcats Freshman.

Jacob racked up three RBIs on three hits for the Verona Wildcats Freshman. John Coshun racked up 12 strikeouts in the the Verona Wildcats Freshman win. The Verona Wildcats Freshman’s pitcher gave up just two hits over five shutout innings.

J Ryan couldn’t get it done on the hill for Beloit, taking a loss. He allowed 11 runs in two innings, walked five and struck out four.

The Verona Wildcats Freshman added five more runs in the bottom of the third. A ground out scored Jake to start the scoring in the inning. That was followed up by Bradley’s single, bringing home Noah Anderson.

The Verona Wildcats Freshman tacked on another three runs in the fourth. A passed ball scored Jake for the inning’s first run. That was followed up by Jeff Bishop’s single, bringing home Noah and Jacob.
