After five lead changes in Thursday’s game at Olson Field, the Verona Wildcats JV finally pulled out a 6-5 win over Madison Memorial .
The Verona Wildcats JV took the lead in the fourth inning and held on for the victory. An error scored Brandon Ellestad and gave the Verona Wildcats JV the lead for good.
The Verona Wildcats JV held off Madison Memorial , as Madison Memorial was unable to overcome a three-run fourth inning deficit.
Madison Memorial scored on an RBI double by #5 in the fourth inning and a fielder’s choice in the sixth inning. Despite its efforts, Madison Memorial couldn’t finish the comeback.
Connor McGowan went a perfect 2-2 at the dish for the Verona Wildcats JV. He singled in the third and fourth innings.

Gaelan Combs drove in the winning run to give the Verona Wildcats JV the lead in the eighth inning, as the Verona Wildcats JV hung on to beat Sun Prairie 5-3 on Tuesday.
Eli Hano singled to get on base in the eighth. He then went from first to third on a single by Tristan Largent.
Grant Kelliher got the win in relief for the Verona Wildcats JV. Kelliher pitched six innings and allowed one run.
The top of the first saw the Verona Wildcats JV take an early lead, 3-0. Hano kicked things off for the Verona Wildcats JV with a single. John Coshun singled, plating Tucker Teskey. More runs came home for the Verona Wildcats JV when Hano scored on a walk by Brooks Brazeau and Largent scored on an error.
Sun Prairie tied the game in the seventh on a passed ball that scored 11.

The Verona Wildcats JV and Beloit Memorial both had scoring chances on Thursday, but it was the Verona Wildcats JV that were able to capitalize on them as they pulled out a 3-2 win at Stateline Youth Sports Complex.
Beloit Memorial out-hit Verona Wildcats JV four to three, but Beloit Memorial stranded five runners on base.
The Verona Wildcats JV staved off Beloit Memorial as Beloit Memorial was unable to match the Verona Wildcats JV down the stretch.
Beloit Memorial scored on in the fourth inning and an RBI double by #6 in the seventh inning. Despite its efforts, Beloit Memorial couldn’t get over the hump.
Tucker Teskey did his best to jumpstart the offense for the Verona Wildcats JV, reaching base two times. He singled in the third inning.
John Coshun recorded the win for the Verona Wildcats JV. He allowed two runs over seven innings. Coshun struck out 13, walked three and gave up four hits.

It didn’t take long for the Verona Wildcats JV to respond as they scored one run of their own in the third. The Verona Wildcats JV scored on a fielder’s choice.
Craig never trailed after scoring three runs in the sixth on two singles.
Craig piled on five more runs in the top of the seventh. A wild pitch scored #11 for the inning’s first run. That was followed up by #3’s single, plating #20.

Brooks Brazeau racked up two RBIs on three hits for the Verona Wildcats JV. He singled in the fourth and fifth innings and doubled in the seventh inning.
Mcwilliams couldn’t get it done on the mound for the Verona Wildcats JV, taking a loss. He lasted just five innings, walked four, struck out three, and allowed five runs.
Middleton never surrendered the lead after the sixth inning, scoring six runs on a solo home run by #59, an RBI single by #43, and.

Brandon Ellestad took the loss for the Verona Wildcats JV. He allowed seven runs in four innings, walked three and struck out none.

West built upon its lead with three runs in the third. #13 doubled, scoring #14 and #21 to start the inning.
